About

Mom, me, Dad

Dr. Theresa Pulickal P.T., D.P.T., RYT, obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Exercise Science from Illinois State University. She received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2009 from Azusa Pacific University when her research was published in Journal of Diabetes Technology & Therapeutics.  From a young age, Dr. Pulickal has always been committed to a healthy and active lifestyle.  When it came time to choosing a career path, physical therapy was a natural choice because it provided the opportunity to combine her passion for fostering physical health with her strong desire to help others. Dr. Pulickal is a comprehensive clinician with strong clinical skills and is continuously seeking knowledge. Dr. Pulickal started her practice in pediatrics with severe neurological impairments and has completed a Registered Yoga Teacher certification through the Yoga Alliance to become more proficient in the fitness aspect of yoga as a therapy, Pranic Energy Healing, Cranial Sacral Therapy, Visceral Mobilization, and an Aruyveda certification. Today she is working in pelvic health. Her ideal patient would be those with pelvic floor dysfunctions such as organ prolapse, leaking, incontinence, diastasis recti, vaginal flatulence, Interstitial cystis, irritable bowel syndrome, GI dysfunction, pain with gynecological exams, sex, or use of menstrual cups or tampons, fertility patients, pregnant, postpartum, and pelvic pain.  Gaining knowledge in Eastern Medicines and putting them to use in a Western Medicine field has been an ideal fit for Dr. Pulickal because she is not limited by traditional approaches. She enjoys working with each patient and creating a specialized plan to aid them in returning to a healthy and pain-free lifestyle.
